Acura RL

Acura's RL luxury sedan is underrated already hobbled by the perception that it was underpowered and useless in the styling department. While the competition offers a different look and an optional V-8, which stuck RL V-6 and a weak attitude. Acura hopes to change that with a slightly revised in 2009, but did not seem like too much has been done.

Outside, the RL has a new grille with a little "shield" that looks like one of the decorated MDX crossover, along with slightly modified lights. Display clearly more daring, but we're not sure it's more cohesive than the old design. Inside, the company said that it upgraded, but the new shifter in addition to all look the same to us. Optional navigation system, however, will now come with live weather updates; the RL is also one of the first car that offers live traffic updates.

The biggest change comes to the machine, which can grow to 3.7-liter V-6 pushing out 300 more horsepower, up from 290-hp 3.5-liter. Acura has also upgraded the suspension and steering and added bigger 18-inch wheels and "aggressive" as the standard tire. All-wheel drive remains standard and, yes, the Acura is still called Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive.

Expect prices to remain close to the current $ 46,280 - $ 53,700 range when the RL sales occurred within a few months.
